However, it's important to approach Café Des Guides with an understanding of its menu limitations during certain times of the day. The attentive service has garnered appreciation, with customers highlighting the staff's friendliness and their knowledge of the menu. It’s reassuring to hear stories of dedicated wait staff providing detailed descriptions of the dishes, ensuring that diners make informed choices about their meals.
However, it's worth noting some critiques, such as the noise level during peak times and occasional service hiccups, which may detract from the overall experience. Yet, as one patron affirmed, the prices remain reasonable, especially given the generous portions and appealing quality of the meals.
In conclusion, Café Des Guides offers a unique blend of breathtaking views, friendly service, and a slice of alpine culture. Whether you're stopping for a quick coffee after a day of skiing or seeking a hearty meal amongst friends, this café promises a memorable encounter in the heart of Gressoney-Saint-Jean.
“ We went there for food and drinks. However, we could not order as they said that it only served toast when we went in the afternoon. They did not have many gluten-free choices. The waitress got my order wrong. I ordered tea but got a bottle of cold drink that was supposed to ice tea. The place was noisy and full of people smoking. ”
Prezzo assolutamente onesto. ”
“ Great coffee ”
“ Super friendly and has a great selection of beers and food ”
